備考1. 曲管，異径又は継手金具付きホースの内径・肉厚等の基本事項についても，この規格に準拠する こと。
This standard covers straight water hoses mainly used in the cooling system of internal combustion engines and the heating system of automobiles (hereinafter called "hose").
Remark 1. Basic properties of curved hoses, hoses with end fittings and other hoses of special shape, such as the inside diameter and wall thickness, shall comply with this standard.
